You’ll be trying on a range of styles, so bring underwear that won’t show through light fabrics. Nude tones and strapless bras are best. (Don’t worry - you’ll have plenty of privacy and comfort during your fitting!)
If you already know the height of your wedding heels, bring them along. If not, bring a pair with a similar heel height to help you get a better idea of dress length and overall proportions.
Wearing your hair up or styled how you might on your wedding day can help you visualise your full bridal look - and how certain necklines or veils might suit you.
If you have saved photos of dresses, silhouettes, or designers you love, bring them along. They help your bridal consultant understand your vision - and often, they’ll introduce you to similar styles you hadn’t considered.
Choose one or two people whose opinions truly matter to you. Having a small support team helps you stay focused on how you feel in each gown, without too many voices in the mix.
Some brides find their dream dress in the first appointment, while others take a little longer - and that’s completely okay. Come with an open mind and enjoy the process; your consultant is there to guide you every step of the way.
